Men’s hoodies: with and without zips, in sizes XL to 8XL

With or without a zip?

Ten of the hoodies have a zip, and ten are pull-overs. The zipped ones make it easy to get in and out of the hoodie, and you can open it up when it’s warm. The non-zipped ones are classic hoodies with a hood and drawstring, and some have a large front pocket – a kangaroo pocket. Three fall somewhere in between: Casa Moda’s hooded sweatshirt and Athletes Collective’s two hybrid hoodies with waterproof zips.

Hoodie without a zip

North Latitude offers three hoodies with drawstring hoods and ribbed trims in a relaxed fit, including one with a subtle chest print. If you’re looking for a design, there are hoodies featuring the Coca-Cola and Everlast logos from North Latitude, whilst North 56°4 has a striped hoodie in three colours. Casa Moda’s hoodie features a print and embroidery on the chest.

Zip-up hoodie

North Latitude and North 56°4 They have hoodies with zips and small embroidery on the chest. One of North 56°4’s sweatshirt cardigans has a full-length zip, side pockets and a drawstring hood that offers protection from the wind and light rain. The Compass Classics hooded zip-up sweatshirt is easy to style over a T-shirt, shirt or thin jumper.

Fabric and washing

Fourteen of the hoodies are made from 100 % cotton, and the rest are cotton blends containing polyester, for example 60 % cotton and 40 % polyester. Athletes Collective’s hybrid hoodies contain more polyester than cotton. Several of the hoodies are made from unbrushed cotton terry, whilst North 56°4’s zip-up sweatshirt with a kangaroo pocket is brushed on the inside. Most can be washed at 40 degrees. Two of North Latitude’s hoodies should be washed at 30 degrees and must not be tumble-dried, whilst Casa Moda’s two hoodies should also be washed at 30 degrees.

Fit and sizes

Several of North Latitudes’ and North 56°4’s hoodies have a regular fit, so you can choose your usual size. Three of North Latitude’s drawstring hoodies have a relaxed fit, and in two of them, the model is 188 cm tall and is wearing a 3XL. Most are available from XL to 8XL, some also in L; Athletes Collective ranges from M to 8XL and Casa Moda from M to 6XL. Hoodies in TALL

If you’re tall, you’ll find four hoodies in TALL From North 56°4: a hoodie with a kangaroo pocket in three colours, one with a zip and pocket, and two zip-up sweatshirt cardigans with a kangaroo pocket. The TALL range from North 56°4 is longer and has a slightly slimmer fit. Sizes range from LT to 6XLT, but not all styles are available in every size.

Yes. Both words are used to refer to a hooded sweatshirt.
